How I can help

Osteopathy can treat any part of the body. It can help you recover from an acute injury through to managing long term conditions.

 

It works by using techniques to release muscle tension and joint stiffness which then helps reduce pain levels and allow more normal movement to return.

 

The techniques are all hands on and include deep tissue massage and articulation to loosens tight muscles, improve joint mobility and aid your body’s own natural ability to recover.

 

Osteopathy can also involve manipulation of joints (the cracking) but it doesn’t have to, so don’t let that put you off.

 

What type of treatment is used is always a discussion and agreement between practitioner and patient.
